Hello everyone! I want to thank all of our Board and terrific distributor and supplier partner members for making the CAAMP Fall Showcase a huge success.
As I sit on the beach on the SC coast and the sun reflects off the ocean, I also reflect on the past couple of years and how our members and our Board of Directors have come together to bring life and excitement back to the Carolinas regional association. It has been an interesting time in all of our lives, and I appreciate the efforts of everyone involved with keeping up the CAAMPFires and the showcases. The recent fall show was a 2-day regional event that allowed for distributor salespeople and their clients to come through and meet with many of the best suppliers in the industry and discuss all of their best ideas for the 4th quarter.
The feedback we received from all of the attendees was extremely positive and we're looking forward to the Spring Carolinas Connection show on March 29, 2023!

LDW Juices Promo’s Regional Associations For The Year Ahead

Effective leadership drives any organization, be it a business,
a team or, in the case of this week’s 2022 PPAI Leadership Development
Workshop, a regional association. Takeaways from the three-day event will
inform executive directors’ and board members’ decision-making in the year
ahead.

returned this week for its 21st in-person event and the first time the popular
conference drew participants together face-to-face since 2019. It included
attendees representing all of the promotional products industry’s 27 regional
associations.

Named PPAI Regional Volunteer Award Recipient |

Thea Bruce, CAS, operations manager at Newcastle, Washington-based multi-line rep firm Incentives West, former executive director of the Northwest Promotional Marketing Association (NWPMA) and current board treasurer of the regional association, has been named the 2022 recipient of the PPAI Regional Volunteer Award.
The Award
The PPAI Regional Volunteer Award is presented annually to regional association members who demonstrate an outstanding level of volunteerism, leadership and/or have made other significant and measurable contributions to one or more regional associations. Whether recipients have been actively involved in association programs or impacted association growth and stewardship, the PPAI Regional Volunteer is an enthusiastic advocate who has taken their involvement and commitment to ever higher levels of participation. |

Announces Winners Of Its Most Prestigious Awards
|

|
|
PPAI
has announced the recipients of its 2023 Icon Awards, including the PPAI Hall
of Fame, Distinguished Service Award and H. Ted Olson Humanitarian Award.
These
awards celebrate the accomplishments of individuals who have gone above and
beyond in service to the promotional products industry, the Association and
their communities.
Recipients of the Association’s most prestigious awards will be
recognized at the Chair’s Leadership Dinner at The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas, on
Monday, January 9, 2023, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

PPEF Executive CommitteeJoins PPAI For 2023 Planning Meeting |
|
|
|
This week at PPAI’s headquarters in Irving, Texas, the Association was host to a meeting of the Promotional Products Education Foundation’s (PPEF) 2022 Executive Committee for a 2023 planning session.
The Meeting
PPAI welcomed members of PPEF’s 2022 Executive Committee and incoming members of the committee at its offices. The meeting focused on the Foundation’s plans for 2023, including the budget and how much to award in scholarships, when it would open scholarship applications for next year, and PPEF’s strategic priorities as it continues its growth to help even more industry families by providing college scholarships.
