In Memoriam of John Bennis

“Our industry has lost an icon, someone who has mentored hundreds of people—distributors, suppliers and other multi line reps,” says friend and colleague Harvey Mackler, president of Gempire. “He was loved by so many in our industry. He leaves a void that cannot be filled.”

Bennis is predeceased by his beloved son Max and is survived by his wife Gina and daughter Dana."

PPAI Waives Certifications Fees During Health Crisis!

In March, 30 industry professionals earned their Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS) and Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) certifications. PPAI is also taking steps to expand certification opportunities during the COVID-19 pandemic and the disruptions it has brought to the industry. Beginning April 1 and running through June 30, PPAI has waived the Trained Advertising Specialist (TAS) certificate and CAS and MAS certification application fees for Association members and reduced pricing for Associates by 50 percent.

Why PPAI Certification?

The Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS), Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) and Master Advertising Specialist Plus (MAS+) Certifications are the promotional products industry's premier professional designations. Individuals with a PPAI Certification are industry leaders-those who have attained a higher standard of professional competence, knowledge and experience. PPAI industry certification is acquired through a combination of dedicated certification classes, demonstrated years of employment in the industry, elective courses, and a successful demonstration of expertise. Certification is maintained through continuing education to ensure current knowledge and leading-edge professional skills.

PPAI Certification demonstrates a commitment to both business excellence and continued professional growth. A relatively small percentage of professionals hold these certifications and are often the industry's innovators and leaders. PPAI Certification Program has been recognized as a reliable indicator of professionalism and excellence in the promotional products industry. For more information on the CAS, MAS, MAS+ Certifications, please visit https://www.ppai.org/members/certification/ or
