Congratulations to Mark Seay on his Retirement!

Mark Seay, Distributor.

On behalf of CAAMP, we would like to congratulate Mark Seay for his almost 30 years of service and dedication to our industry. Mark began his career in our industry as a distributor at The Joe Henry Co. and worked there for 20 years. More recently, Mark worked as a distributor at Carolina Marketing Group and Black Rock Branding. Mark was one of the first to get the MAS+ designation in our industry and has continued the advocacy of education. He has served on multiple committees with PPAI and RAC.

Mark served as CAAMP President in 2011 and he is the true definition of a volunteer. He is always looking for ways to serve and “gives his all” with everything he is involved in. He is the first to offer constructive advice and support, asking for nothing in return. With a genuine heart to serve, Mark receives a satisfaction in seeing others succeed. Whether it is encouraging someone to join the promotional products world, fostering supplier-distributor relationships, adding new multiline and supplier reps to his show, integrating community service into the world of promo, inviting us to his house for caroling during the holidays, or standing by the bedside of those colleagues that are sick…Mark was always there!

As we talked with his fellow board members, we heard of his calming demeanor during meetings when different ideas were being discussed. He was always able to offer a compromised solution. When he took on a project, he gave 150% which is such a rare quality for a volunteer position.

Others may know Mark as a father, grandfather, husband, surfer, but we know Mark as a mentor, a teacher, a volunteer, a leader, and a friend. Words can’t show the magnitude of our appreciation for all he has done for us and our industry. We hope he knows that he has touched so many of us in so many ways, and that we will always carry that with us.

All of us at CAAMP, would like to wish Mark nothing but happiness in his retirement years and all the best in this next phase of his life!
